Watching DVDs

Yes - please use VLC media player (the orange traffic cone) and NOT Windows Media Player.

There are several ways to watch movies on DVD using VLC, you can

• insert DVD
• wait for auto-play to load DVD
• when asked to select a program select VLC (the orange traffic cone)

Or if the movie does not auto-play, try

• opening My Computer
• click on the Z:\drive
• select the File menu and Play with VLC media player
