What can I do about faded or light areas appear on printed pages? 

You need to replace the toner.  You can try shaking toner cartridge to get a few more prints.

Why won't the printer print - everything looks okay but the error light is flashing?

Try adjusting the paper in the paper tray

- pull the tray completely out

- adjust the back lever so the paper is lying flush (this means the tray sticks out a little bit when you put it back in the printer)

- put tray back in printer

- press the "GO" button (green/blue) button on the printer

Non standard paper - is this allowed? 

Please do not allow the use of laminate sheets (or any material besides standard A4 paper) in the APNK Public Printer.  Only standard A4 paper printing is supported and covered under warranty.
