Can I use the screen reader software NVDA on APN Public PCs?

• Yes.  You can run NVDA portable version from your USB memory stick.

• The latest APN Public PCs has NVDA installed

How do I turn NVDA on?

To turn NVDA ON  use keyboard shortcut CONTROL ALT =

NVDA is also listed in the Start | Programs menu 

How do I turn NVDA off?

INSERT Q, or

Right click the black and white NVDA icon in the system tray (near the clock) and select exit.

When NVDA is running I can not use the keyboard to type in Internet Explorer or Firefox - some characters including I and F don't work, why? [Keyboard not working]

NVDA virtual buffer is on by default, to turn off while running NVDA use the keyboard shortcut  INSERT spacebar.
