Can I edit video files?

Windows Movie Maker is a free video editing software program that comes with Windows XP.  To access Movie Maker on the APN People's Network PCs click on the Start button, Programs, Windows Movie Maker icon.

To import or capture your video file you will need to have it stored on removable media such as DVD/mini-DVD or memory card.  USB devices that require software or drivers to be installed before they can connect to the PC are not supported on the APN Public PCs.

Known Issue!

If Movie Maker jams when you are saving your file try this workaround.

- close Movie Maker (you may have to End Task)

- open Movie Maker

- Tools

- Options

- Compatability tab

- untick the filters selected

- close Movie Maker

- open Movie Maker and saving your file again.
