Māori macrons 

How do I insert a macron above a vowel on the APN public PCs?  For example Māori

To insert a macron above a vowel

• press the tilde ~ key once

• let go the tilde  ~ key

• then press the vowel key eg a

   

   

  it should look like this ā

   

   

    Note: the tilde key is located next to the Number 1 key on the APN public PC's keyboard

    Examples of Māori macrons

    ā, Ā, ē, ī, ō, ū, Ū
