Keyboard Language

I've changed the language toolbar keyboard to Japanese but text entry is STILL IN ENGLISH! Help?

Press ALT and ` (quote mark) keys at same time to switch to Haragana, or see long winded instructions below.

How to change the keyboard language - example change to Japanese ...

1.     Open the program you wish to type in  (eg Word or Internet Explorer)
2.     Click in the place where you wish to type
3.     Change the language by clicking on the EN symbol near the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
4.     If you select Japanese

- right-click the JP symbol

- select adjust the language band position

- then click on the A symbol to change the Input Mode to eg Hiragana

5.    The keyboard will default back to English when the computer is restarted or when a different application is used.
