Why can't I upload photos to Facebook?

Facebook bulk photo uploader requires an Active-X control to be installed - this is a known issue.   You can NOT install Active-X controls on the APN PCs.

To upload photos to Facebook you need to select the Simple Uploader option.  You can only upload a maximum of five photos at one time and yes this option is slow.

Note: 

Facebook has a files size limit of 5 MB per photo.  (You may need to resize your image using eg Paint.Net or Microsoft Office Picture Manager)

You can successfully upload bulk photos if you have a Gmail account to the Google alternative to Flickr "Picasa Web Album"

 - Picasa is installed on the APN PCs (Start Menu | Programs | Picasa 2)

 - Import your photos and then use the WebAlbum option to upload to your Picasa Google website

 - This option is faster than using the built in online upload functions of such websites as Facebook, Bebo and the online version of Picasa.
