How can I take a photo of myself using the APN Public PC webcam?

If the APN public PC at your library does NOT have LOGITECH listed in the Start | Programs list then you need to follow this work-around.

Take a screenshot

- PrintScrn button on the keypboard

- Paste image into eg Word document

OR

• Open Windows Movie Maker  [Start | Programs]
• Capture from video device
• Select Logitech QuickCam
• Next
• Enter a name to call your "video"
• Next
• Best quality
• Next
• Make sure you are lined up in the preview
• Start Capture
• Stop Capture
• Finish
• In Windows Movie Maker under the your picture on the right, is a camera icon - click on it
• Give your picture a name
• Save, note the default location is My Pictures
• Close Windows Movie Maker
• Open My Computer or My Documents and browse to your photo, the default location is My Pictures
• Ta-da!
